As you start your sunrise trek around the 12km base trail of Uluru, you will embrace the culture, geology and environment that is the essence of this amazing monolith.

Your guide will tell you the Tjukurpa (Creation) stories of Liru (poisonous snake) and Kuniya (woma python), as well as many other Aboriginal creation stories associated with this central Australian icon.

Along the trail you will witness sunrise, visit waterholes, rock art sites and learn of Uluru’s cultural significance to the Anangu (local Aboriginal) people.

 

Things to know

  • Tour duration approx. 6 hours.
  • Tour departs 1 hours prior to sunrise.
  • Child Seats: Infants aged from 0-4 years travel free of charge but are subject to a $75 AUD / $79 AUD (from 1 April 2025) fee for a car seat to be fitted and supplied by SEIT Tours. Children aged from 0-7 years are required by NT Government Regulations to travel in a car seat. Car seats are included in the child touring rate for children aged 5-7 years.
