Artists in Residence at the Gallery of Central Australia (GoCA) - 30 March - 12 April

Visit the Gallery of Central Australia (GoCA) between 30 March - 12 April and experience the vibrancy of our Artists In Residence, Keringke Arts.

Keringke Arts, established in 1989, is situated in the community of Ltyentye Apurte / Santa Teresa, east of Alice Springs.

The Eastern Arrernte artists' distinguished style is evident in their skill and application of intricate design and vibrant colours. These shapes and designs may have features that are attributed to bush flowers and medicines that grow on their Country. Concentric circles also refer to the ancient Kangaroo Rock hole site that formed when the ancestor Kangaroo came though the lands.

At the heart of Keringke Arts is the passion and dedication of these artists who all have deep ties to the local area and have a reputation for some of the most vibrant Indigenous art Australia has to offer.

Artists in Residence from 30 March - 5 April include: June Smith, Margaret Bloomfield, and Jilary Lynch.

Artists in Residence from 6 April - 12 April include: Chantelle Mulladad, Lauren Bloomfield, and Charelle Williams.
