Uluru Holidays Offer

Filming and Photography Guidelines

Please ensure you adhere to the following guidelines regarding filming and photography at Ayers Rock Resort, Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, and Wintjiri Wiru for the duration of your event.

Filming and Photography at Ayers Rock Resort

If you wish to film or photograph for commercial purposes while at Ayers Rock Resort - including website, newsletter, social media, publicity, or advertising - please discuss your plans with the PR team via [email protected] at least two weeks in advance.

Note that all filming on Ayers Rock Resort property must be escorted by a member of the Media Team.

Please be aware that Ayers Rock Resort and Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park are no-drone-zones.

Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park Photography Permits

A Media Permit via the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park team must be applied for before any filming or photography of Uluru or Kata Tjuta can take place - including website, newsletter, social media, publicity, or advertising. This process may take up to 2 weeks. Media Permits are issued at the sole discretion of the Park, therefore, we recommend you contact the Park Media Office as early as possible in your planning if you are considering any filming or photography within the Park or Ayers Rock Resort.

Guidelines for commercial image capture, use and commercial sound recording have been developed to assist with any content capture at corporate events - whether within the National Park or Ayers Rock Resort. The guidelines have been drawn up in collaboration with Traditional Owners and representatives from the tourism, film, and photographic industries. They have been agreed to in the spirit of joint management and are approved by the Park's Board of Management. The guidelines will help you have a better understanding of the Park's World Heritage values and help to respect Anangu culture.
